BRIEF

Although an intuitive action for existing Zip users, research showed that new Uber Eats customers weren’t clear on the process of adding Zip Pay to their digital wallet inside the Uber app.

An acquisition campaign was run to show how easy it is to select Zip Pay as the preferred payment method, backed by a unique promotional offer of $10 off the next order exclusively with Zip Pay.

STRATEGY

In terms of UX, people engaged with Uber Eats are primed to buy food (deliveries or groceries), aware of the new partnership with Zip (flexible repayments), and enticed by a good deal (discounts or rewards).

Building on the 'Zip has arrived on the Uber app' launch proposition, this two-pronged initiative sought to both remind customers of the collaboration and drive the action of choosing to check out with Zip.

SOLUTION

Just add Zip – a simple call to action honing in on mouthwatering moments of adding condiments, garnishes and finishing touches to a meal.
